Penjelajahan at Trip Observasi 2017 by Nasya Alifah Ramadani

Last October, the 10th grader and the student councils (OSIS/MPK) went to Purwakarta for Trip Observasi (TO) this year. I’m so happy because I can go to Purwakarta again as one of the student councils’ member. And I’m the mentor of group 9 with Oji. Group 9 members are Ottmar, Alif, Naufal, Elena, Utari, Sarah, Sandra and Bella, and I couldn’t ask for a better group.

On the 4th day of TO, we got up early in the morning and prepare ourselves for Penjelajahan. The student councils went to the field earlier than the 10th grade because we have to go to our division spot on the track. I was lucky because the art division spot was the first one.

When the first group almost arrived, Nadine and I told them to keep walking, and then Radiya and Attala shouted “16 SIAPA KALIAN” and they sang their yel-yel. It was very fun. When they arrived, we painted their faces with the face paints they collect earlier. We write their name whose they gave love letter to in the forehead, in the right cheek, we write what division they want to be if they want to be the student council, the last one, the left cheek, we write the name of the student councils’ member whose they hate the most. After that, we took a photo together.

When my group arrived, I was very happy because they left from the field earlier than I thought, and they are so excited for penjelajahan.

About half an our later, some 12th grader arrived to our spot, they came from Jakarta to join penjelajahan too. Our senior seems to be very excited about it, and we took a photo together.

After all the group have done in our spot, we continue walking back to the village. It was very exhausting but it was fun also! We took some photos on the way because the view was very nice.

The art division got to the village earlier than others, because we finished in our spot earlier too. I went to my house and clean myself up, and rest a bit. Then I go to Radiya’s house. Her house was a bit far from mine. I told her to go to my house because my house was a bit larger than the other and has a terrace. Nadine and Attala joined us too.

About half an hour later, my group arrived home, covered in mud. We took some photos and feel bad because Oji wasn’t home yet that time. My host parents told us that we could grill sate maranggih. So Ottmar and Alif grilled it and it was very delicious.
